Cermex SB & SW

TOP 3 BENEFITS:

  • Direct access into the machine at floor level
  • Product retention zones minimized
  • Compact and ergonomic machine design

PRODUCT INFORMATION

The products are fed in by single-layer simple transfer or by a mechanical or servo-driven elevating or lowering stacker.

This multi-function equipment has a compact layout and footprint with easy access and operability:

  • Case magazine height lowered to improve blank handling by the operator.
  • Cantilever design of the case transfer mechanism.
  • Absence of product retention zones so that products fall directly on the ground, at the infeed, collation and loading stations, thanks to sloping plates
  • Maximum product tracing guaranteed.
  • Hygienic operating conditions.
  • Size changeover times optimised thanks to centralised setting points and the integration of changeover assistance via IVO digital counters (as an option)
  • Speeds of up to 13.5 cases/min for the 2-station model and 20 cases/min for the 3-station model.

Options:

  • Product and batch control by vision system.
  • Integration of the labeling operation.
  • For requirements in terms of speed and smooth handling, the loading operation can be carried out by a “Pick & Pack” gripper: 2-axis, 3-axis, 6-axis, or Scara.

Integration of Track & Trace solution for serialization, for greater traceability (in option)

Features

Product packing

  • Stocking of blanks in a flat magazine with motorized belt.
  • Extraction and presentation of the flat blank at the forming station by an arm fitted with suction cups.
  • Erection and squaring of the static case by rotating arm and lower support ramp.
  • Flap deflection and guiding of the batch of products into the case by rotating bridge and loading funnel.
  • Motorized transfer of the batch into the case.
  • Pre-folding of the long flaps whilst case is stationary, followed by progressive folding during transfer

Hot-melt version

  • Motorized transfer of the cases (held square) by mechanical shuttle with speed control for even application of glue strips.
  • Case halted at the pressing station by upper stop.
  • Pressure applied evenly to case sides to ensure gluing and squaring of the case prior to outfeed.

Adhesive tape version

  • Motorized transfer of the cases (held square) by mechanical shuttle.
  • Positive transfer of the case by motorized belts for sealing by applying adhesive tape.

Product packing

  • Stocking of blanks in a flat magazine with chains advancing mechanically and guide to maintain stability.
  • Positive case extraction and forming (patented system) by two rotating arms fitted with suction cups.
  • Flap deflection and guiding of the batch of products into the case by rotating bridge and loading funnel.
  • Motorized transfer of the batch into the case.
  • Folding and holding of the inner flaps.
  • Pre-folding of the long flaps whilst case is stationary, followed by progressive folding during transfer.
