DepalKombi Gripping depalletizer for plastic crates boasts numerous assets, including versatility, efficiency, simplicity of operation, and full safety.

Its versatility is remarkable: it is suitable for low/medium speed applications and for both low-level and high-level depalletization, and caters for half and full-depth crates. It can handle all pallet standards up to 1,250 mm. it offers great layout flexibility with an in-line / 90° outfeed configuration. Quick adjustment is also guaranteed for frequent changeovers (patterns and pallet sizes).

With its optimized design and enhanced crate handling, the DepalKombi Gripping is exceedingly simple for operators to use, offering easy access on all sides and minimal floor space requirements. It can be easily fitted into existing lines. The design is simple and standard parts are employed.

Safe operator intervention is our foremost priority and the machine has been designed with this in mind. It is fitted with safety barriers and mesh guards (2500mm) around all the moving parts in accordance with EC standards. Additionally, it is equipped with safety micro-switches installed on the access gates in order to stop the machine in case of any human intervention.

In terms of sustainable development, DepalKombi Gripping depalletizer is fitted with IE2 high-efficiency drives as standard, and emits a very low noise level.

Layer pushing device (ninety-degree version):

The pushing device is composed of a motorized rake installed among the rollers which takes the incoming rows of crates and pushes them into the layer preparation area.
The roller conveyors are motorized and push the row of crates against the adjustable lateral guide in order to keep them compacted.
The layer preparation area is composed of belt conveyors and two lateral guides. One of them is movable in order to compact the whole layer.

Safe operation due to pneumatic parachutes that prevent any risks of layer falling in case of power failure.

Gripping head (hook version): Hooks, pneumatically controlled, hang the whole layer of crates usually by the handles.
Gripping head (side pressure version):

Side pressure pick-up head holds the crate layer on the four sides throughout the cycle.
Product stability during transfer.
Each side pressure bar is composed of horizontal tubes with plastic pads and pneumatically controlled.
Safe handling and improved adaptability to any crates dimensions and heights.

Crater conveyor

The empty pallet coming onto the central conveyor is stopped by a pneumatically driven mechanical retainer.
Two safety photocells detect the presence and correct positioning of the pallet.
Double station also available depending on the configuration.

The DepalKombi Gripping depalletizer has a central lifting system composed of two columns and a servo-driven trolley.
A counterweight system ensures smooth handling of layers. The layer is taken away from the pallet and released onto the pick-up table.
